HOPELIGHT COMMUNITY CHURCH CONFESSION OF FAITH
We confess that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one in God.
We confess that Jesus Christ is the one and only Lord and Savior and that the Gospel is the power of God for the salvation of all who believe.
We confess that the Holy Bible is God’s message to us and it was written by men under the influence of the Holy Spirit.
We confess that God’s Spirit communicates with us to create and sustain Christian faith and fellowship for service in, and to, this world.
We confess that we believe totally in the plan of salvation, as described in the scriptures.
We confess that baptism represents the death and burial of our old self and our resurrection into new life in Christ and that we experience this as a public display of our repentance.
We confess that all the power in this fellowship belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ, its head. All actions are to be carried out under His rule and authority.
Due to the fact that we believe the Holy Bible to be completely true, our entire confession of faith can be read in the scriptures.
We confess that in order to follow Christ we must pursue the fruit of the Spirit and desire spiritual gifts.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
To glorify God by equipping His church and spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through loving the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and loving our neighbor as much as we love ourselves.
WORSHIP
You'll find we offer a different style of praise and worship music from week to week. Hopelight has several in-house worship teams, and we occasionally bring in guest musicians (bluegrass, etc.).
